Nine out of ten companies now use temporary help. Client companies call us to cover peak periods, projects, and absences due to illness or vacation; therefore the assignment lengths vary (with a four hour minimum). Client companies will often use a temporary to help determine the need for a permanent position. This allows the employer to "try out" a temporary and gives the temporary employee a chance to assess the client company.
Only one visit to our office is necessary to register as a temporary employee. You will fill out an application, test on any computer applications that you have utilized in the past, and meet with a counselor to discuss career objectives. Future assignments will then be coordinated over the telephone.
